Laurentian Senior Public School

Laurentian Senior Public School is home to the Lancers and first opened its doors to students in 1968. Located just off Laurentian Boulevard, choosing the name for the school was an easy decision. The school is located at 777 Westmount Road in Kitchener and serves a number of feeder schools in the WRDSB including: Country Hills, Alpine, Trillium, Glencairn, and part of Forest Hill.

Our goal at Laurentian is to optimize student learning and well being while focusing on a safe, caring and learning culture.   “We are a community of learners, caring for our own and others’ needs academically, socially and emotionally”.

Our Students:

Our school has an eclectic school population of approximately 400 students in grades 7 and 8, with students coming from many different countries throughout the world. Laurentian Public School is an active place that allows students to experience many different aspects of life. After completing their two years of school at Laurentian the majority of this diverse group move on to High School.
