As we approach the mid year of our first semester, parents are interested in finding out how their child is progressing. We believe working in partnership with parents, guardians and caregivers is critical to the success of our students.There are a variety of ways in which teachers share clear, consistent and updated information with you. As educators, we endeavour to be available to our families via multiple sources. Telephone, email, class websites, class twitter accounts, notes in the student planner and face-to-face communication are all ways in which the staff at Laurentian are available to communicate with you.

Parents that have any questions about student assessment and evaluation items that are coming home  are encouraged to contact the teacher. Parents can check for progress updates by checking subject specific notes and keeping track of on going tests, quizzes, assignments and tests that are being completed.
