Today we heard the final words that our grade 7 student Jay K passed away after a very short and sudden criticial illness. Family gave us permission this past week to share this news with our Laurentian community and today we learned of his passing. We do not have details regarding the funeral at this time. The Trauma Team will continue to work with us on Monday and a letter will come home to all families. We are thinking of  Jayant’s family and friends, and the Laurentian community at this time.
