The Laurentian Grade 8 Band had the opportunity to perform in the Kiwanis Music Festival today! They gave a fantastic performance, winning a SILVER medal! Many thanks to Mrs. Dal Bello for all the time and effort she has put into working with these talented young musicians.

Information about Grade 7 & 8 Summer School and the Grade 8 Reach Ahead programs have gone home today. Students who received this information were recommended by Guidance, Special Education and classroom teachers as being suitable candidates for these opportunities. Just a reminder that we will have painters at Laurentian next week. We will coach our students as the painters will be here during the day but the paint is low odour and washable. Thanks everyone – we are looking forward to our spring refresh.

After March Break there will not be a crossing guard in the afternoon at Huron & Featherstone Street where Elliott Bus Lines Run 148 picks up/drops off. Thanks to Jeff McKinnon, our crossing guard at that stop for keeping us informed.
